HOW SUPPORTIVE LIVING SERVICES Works?
We collaborate closely with the person receiving services and their loved ones to create a support plan customized to their specific needs. This determines what support is needed for the individual to live in their own home successfully. This looks different for everyone! This might require 24-hour support, a live-in roommate, or staff that come for regular visits during the day, or a combination.
Ultimately, support is provided in whatever intensity, duration and frequency required.

HOW DO WE PROVIDE HOUSING & LIFE SKILLS?
Some people with special needs, especially older individuals, live in assisted living facilities. Although the term “assisted living” has come to mean a lot of things, in general assisted living facilities house residents in their own apartments within a building or complex of buildings. The residents can cook in their units or eat in a communal dining hall, and they receive nonskilled care in their units, including assistance with bathing, cleaning, and sometimes administration of medicine.
MENTAL, SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL SUPPORT?
At All Together We Can LLC we understands that the services and supports to a consumer shall be to assist that individual to exercise choice in his or her life while building critical and durable relationships with other individuals. Most consumers that we serve will learn two very important functional skills – Self advocacy and Relationship building (with persons other than paid staff, i.e. SLS staff members). For example, each consumer would have the final decision as to where he/she resides. In this scenario, the consumer would exercise his/her personal choice as it relates to residency. In addition, consumers would be encouraged to build durable relationships with others, outside persons paid to provide the consumer services and supports. An example in this case could be: The consumer could maintain a personal calendar indicating important days, special occurrences and/or milestones of family members and/or friends. The consumer then would be encouraged to call or visit the family members and/or friends on those special days, i.e. holidays, birthdays, graduation parties, anniversaries, etc. Additional, consumers would be encouraged to attend/visit local community colleges, shopping centers, day/work programs, recreational and/or sporting events, book stores, coffee shops, etc. All in efforts for the consumer to socialize and make friends and build durable relationships with others outside of persons paid to provide supports and services to the consumer. All Together We Can LLC believes that by teaching consumers self-advocacy and building relationship skills that this would increase the independence, self-reliance and self-esteem for the consumers that we serve.
